Freezing!! The Boise Holiday Parade was definitely cold, but what a great way to start the Holiday Season! It was fun to see the kids playing in the snow, and enjoying the parade at the same time.

Aids Awareness

Since the beginning of Valentine for AIDS over $280,000 has been distributed to local HIV/AIDS awareness and advocacy programs. Over 250 artists donate artwork to the event, annually.

American Heart Ball

A Celebration of creating and sharing. Our evening celebrates: our work and mission; our donors and volunteers; and — most importantly — the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s effort. The Heart Ball promises to be an engaging evening of fun and passion bringing community and philanthropic leaders together. Last year, our Heart Ball campaign raised just over $51 million nation-wide allowing us to fund over $123 million of research and programs across the country and in your community.

Helping Hands

A portion of Sunday Market proceeds are donated back to the community each month. Past recipients include the Idaho Foodbank, Boise Rescue Mission, Women's and Children's Alliance of Boise, Boise Bicycle Project, Idaho Youth Ranch, Interfaith Housing Services, Treasure Valley Institute for Children's Arts (TrICA), Boise Community Radio, Treasure Valley Family YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County, Ride for Joy, Camp River Run, Merina Healing Arts Foundation and Project Patch.

Go Red Luncheon

Mrs. Idaho Intl 2011 Rachel Landon and Miss Idaho Intl Heather Mallary attended the Go Red for Women luncheon in Boise.

The Idaho International Queens Mrs. Idaho International 2011 Rachel Landon, Miss Idaho International 2011 Heather Mallary and Miss Teen Idaho International 2011 Julia Jaquin attended a fundraiser for Battered women to raise money for Angie's House.

An Evening for Janell

Tonight the Mrs. Idaho International 2011 Rachel Landon, Miss Idaho International 2011 Heather Mallary and Miss Teen Idaho International 2011 Julia Jaquin took part in the 2nd annual "An Evening for Janell". Miss Idaho International 2009 Courtney COnner lost her mother to cancer 6 weeks after winning her title. As all three of the 2011 Idaho International Queens platforms are related to cancer they were overjoyed to take part in such a wonderful event to support one of their sister queens.

First Photo Shoot

Today the 2011 Idaho International Queens had their first photo shoot. Thank you to Liz Amar with Venue Pageant & Prom the Idaho International Pageant Official Pageant Consultant for allowing us to use her house for the photo shoot.

1st Official Meeting

The 2011 Idaho International Queens had their first official meeting as queens to sign contracts, talk about appearances and even talk about nationals! This is going to be a wonderful year! So excited for the 2011 Idaho International Queens!
