Mrs. Idaho Intl ~Skin Cancer

Mrs. Idaho International 2011 Rachel Landon was able to speak to a group of young ladies about Skin Cancer. She was able to share her story and educate them on how to protect their skin.

Habitat for Humanity

The Habitat for humanity fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse raised over $1,500 that will go towards building a new home. A special thanks to the staff for inviting me to help out with this great event.

Reading to the Children

I enjoyed going through all of the books at Barnes and Noble and picking a few to read at their weekly story time. Interacting with kids is always a blast. My favorite question is...... "Are you really Mrs. Idaho?"

Relay for Life

The Idaho Falls Relay for Life was a huge success! Raising over $14,000 for the American Cancer Society in an effort to fight Cancer. The night was filled with dancing, laughing, snacks and the most important part GIVING LIFE!!

Parade Time

Freezing!! The Boise Holiday Parade was definitely cold, but what a great way to start the Holiday Season! It was fun to see the kids playing in the snow, and enjoying the parade at the same time.

Thunderbird Meeting

Over 30 people came out to the annual Team Thunderbird Meeting on Saturday. I was honored to be their special guest and speak about Skin Cancer. Now when they cruse down the road in their Classic Thinderbirds I hope they remember their sunscreen!

Mrs. Louisiana and Mrs. Idaho

What a pleasure Rachel Landon Mrs. Idaho Intl 2011 had meeting Nancy, Mrs. Louisiana Intl 2010, as she traveled to a few of the southern states. Having sisters everywhere she goes is the best part of pagentry!

Speaking in Texas

Mrs. Idaho Intl 2011 Rachel Landon flew into Houston, Texas to speak to a hundred young women about knowing who they are, and that No One is a Nobody. I feel so blessed to have had Mrs. Texas, Natalie McLarty, join me and speak about Achieving Your Dreams. She is an amazing woman and I am honored to call her a friend and Pageant Sister!

Go Red Luncheon

Mrs. Idaho Intl 2011 Rachel Landon and Miss Idaho Intl Heather Mallary attended the Go Red for Women luncheon in Boise.

Meeting the leaders

Mrs. Idaho International 2011 Rachel Landon was able to meet with some of the leaders of our state and city. She met Lt. Governor Brad Little, Nampa City Mayor Tom Dale and Governor Butch Otter and First Lady Lori Otter.

Role Model Conference

Rachel Landon, Mrs. Idaho International 2011 was a guest speaker at a Role Model Conference. She was interviewed on KTVB channel 7.
