Little Miss Idaho International Pageant 2010

Friday night August 14^th 2009 was the Little Miss and Pre-Teen Idaho International Pageant. 15 beautiful young ladies from four different age groups (12 months to 12 years) competed for the Little Miss and Pre-Teen titles.

At the end of the evening Ava a three year old little girl won the title of Little Miss Idaho International 2010 and Keelyn a ten year old won the title of Pre-Teen Idaho International 2010. Tiny Miss (12 mos.-3years) princess was 3 year old Preslee, Little Miss (4-6years) princess was Brynn and Young Miss (7-9years) princess was McCall.

Nampa Family Justice Center Walk

Mrs. Idaho International 2009 Melanie DeMure along with some of the Mrs., Miss and Teen Idaho International contestants took part in the Nampa Family Justice Walk that raised awareness for victims of domestic violence and child abuse.

The contestants had the chance to have their photo with the director of the Nampa Failmy Justice Center Rebecca Lovelace and Nampa Mayor Tom Dale.

Final Pageant Night

What a wonderful pageant. Mrs. Idaho International Melanie DeMure placed top ten at the Mr. International pageant. She look beautiful in evening gown, fabulously fit for fitness and so elegant for onstage interview. We are all so very proud of Melanie!

Mrs. International Interviews

Yesterday was interviews. Melanie felt very well about how all her interviews went. Her interview was after 2pm so she had all morning to relax and gather her thoughts.

After interviews it was off to rehearsals then to the meet and greet. Melanie is doing a wonderful job representing Idaho at the Mrs. International pageant. I am very proud of her.

I am off to Chicago today, so expect many photos later this evening!!! Also if you are a facebook friend I will be updating on facebook from the pageant.

Day 2 at Mrs. International

They call it the “Windy City” for a reason! Yesterday was proof…. All the ladies were able to head downtown Chicago. They saw many historical places and learned a lot about the history of Chicago. The morning started off cloudy and rainy, however it cleared up and the ladies were able to ride on the top deck of the tour bus.

The ladies headed back to the hotel after downtown Chicago to start rehearsals. It was a busy day and Melanie did not get back to her room until after 10pm.

Interviews are today. Melanie has her interview at 2pm then straight to rehearsal.

Orientation

Orientation was last night; Melanie is in a group of three with Mrs. Maryland and Mrs. Louisiana. Each lady was able to tell a funny story about themselves. You can ask Melanie about hers, but all I am going to say is it is not easy finding out you are pregnant in another country!!!

Today the ladies head to Downtown Chicago then rehearsals and a makeup seminar.

Melanie wanted to say “Thank you” to Miss Idaho Intl Courtney Conner for the beautiful flowers she sent!!!

Mrs. Idaho Intl 2009 is in CHICAGO!

Mrs. Idaho Intl 2009 Melanie Demure arrived in Chicago Monday evening. She is settled into her room and ready to meet all the lovely ladies who will be competing in the 2009 Mrs. International Pageant.
